The Hôdo Site aimed to gather Internet users who are searching on the Web answers to a new way of life, without feeling obliged to be enlisted in any movement of thoughts. There are pioneers that weave in the universe of the Web wefts of what would not remain an Utopia. So, these pioneers, The Hôdons, are experimenters, and to be one of them, it is enough to respect the Hôdo's charter. The name Hôdo come from the science fiction novels of the saga Hôdo, la légende.
The legend
Hôdo's name comes from one of the colonizers, a Japanese who, during the baptism of the new planet, proposed Jôdo. He spoke to the new community in one of two languages known for all the pioneers, the Spanish. The spanish consonant "j" do not exist in Japonese,also, the pronunciation looked like more a "h". The colonists understood Hôdo and adopted this name for their world. It does not matter, the concept was not remote from Jôdo. Indeed, the pioneers looked for names of paradise. Jôdo is the "pure Earth" of the Great Bouddha Amitâbha. The Japanese Buddhist Shinran preferred the expression: Hôdo, "Earth of the payment". Originally, the first Hôdons was a group of "appointed volunteers" supposed to be a representative sample of Terra. From the mixture of cultures, political, philosophic and religious convictions which characterized the young population, borned a new kind of society. To survive, it was necessary to live in spite of the differences which characterized the pioneers. But, Hôdons refused that the power was held by someone, because the majority of them were sent initially to impose THEIR conception of civilization. So was born the hôdon ACRACYand its "Constitution", a charter which includes at the most only ten articles so that nobody may ignore the Law, and which begins so:
